The construction of a network of motorways and expressways entails the necessity to build petrol stations, motels and restaurants / gastronomic outlets along the roads. The technologies used by UNIHOUSE can be very helpful here. Module technology is especially well suited to building cheap motels; a facility with several dozen beds can be erected on foundations prepared earlier in just a few days. Assuming a 3.8m external width for a module, we can provide sufficient interior space for a single or double room. Since modules can be freely joined, it is also possible to arrange the hotel rooms for more people.

Assuming the transport length of a module up to 14m, one module provides enough space for two single or double rooms.

In the arrangements shown above the room is accessible from a hallway running along the motel building, which is a common solution for this type of facility.

Owing to the excellent thermal insulation of the building, electrical radiators are enough to heat the rooms. They can be switched off while the room is not occupied, which considerably lowers maintenance costs.
