Timber elevations
In the construction technologies of Scandinavia timber is regarded as high-grade building material. No wonder that the dominant technology of Scandinavian house construction is the timber-frame system, and the most common type of elevation in single-family houses and apartment buildings is timber cladding made of weather-boards.
In Poland, timber, which until recently was a symbol of backward countryside, is now coming back in style, as an external cladding material and a structural component of windows. Wood has become fashionable again, especially in elegant houses, where timber elements lend warmth and colouring to elevations.

Timber facades are manufactured mainly of Scandinavian spruce or Siberian larch. In exclusive housing estates we construct facades using exotic kinds of timber more and more often.
