The construction of a Care and Education facility at Cienista Street in Gdańsk began in November 2019. The company UNIHOUSE is constructing the three-storey house with single and double rooms and an attic for fourteen children.
The building at Cienista Street consists of 15 wooden frame modules manufactured in the Factory of Modular Houses in Bielsk Podlaski. The structure of the building and its height have been adapted to match other surrounding buildings. As part of the investment, complete land development and new parking spaces will also be created. The completion of the investment is scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2020.
The investor is Gdańska Infrastruktura Społeczna (Social Infrastructure of Gdańsk), which runs similar homes for five hundred children throughout the city.
– This investment in Gdańsk is unique. In a few months there will be created a new place for less fortunate children. We are glad that we participate in the construction of such a house - says Marcin Gołębiewski, the director of construction at UNIHOUSE SA.
